As a general production/assembler, associates must be able to learn and perform all operations in the assembly department within the allotted time and quality standards for each operation. Each associate will be required to rotate in an established rotation within their assigned cell. Employees must be able to perform any combination of these operations throughout the day as required to meet production demands. Other functions performed by general production/assemblers include but are not limited to cleanup, seat teardown, minor rework, minor equipment maintenance and adjustments, and control of non-conforming material. Participate in recycle program where applicable.
Key Qualifications/RequirementsAssociates will be required to rotate in an established rotation within their assigned cell. Employees are required to wear safety equipment as indicated by the job (i.e. gloves, safety glasses, etc.). While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; stoop; bend; walk; sit; use hands to handle, manipulate, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and or move up to 52 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Associates must also be able to discern various shades of color for all materials. Associates must be able to use a variety of tools (i.e. hog-ring gun, torque gun, screw driver and mallets, etc).
