Production Operator

Shift 3 SUN-THURS 11p-7a

$16.50 per hour

Purpose and Scope

The Fabrication Operator is responsible for following the training parameters to become competent in fabricating and assembling parts from extruded product to the customer’s specifications using fixtures, hand tools, and power tools.

Responsibilities:  The Fabrication Operator responsibilities include, but are not limited to, learning the process to:

Operate various heating, forming, splicing, and punching machinesPerform general assembly as neededMake limited adjustments to equipment, as authorizedForm plastic tubing using heat panels and ovensCut plastic tubing to size using automated cutters per quality specificationsInspect product (using gauges/fixtures) for quality and conformance to specifications Prepare product for shipping, including assembling boxes, packing, and labeling productResponsible for accurate production reporting Keep equipment and work area clean

Required Qualifications:

Hand-eye coordinationBasic math skillsPrior manufacturing experience is preferredAbility to stand for up to long periods of timeAbility to work overtime as neededReliable transportation
