**Job Title: Production Operator** **Job Description** Seize the opportunity to become a vital part of our manufacturing team as a Production Operator. This direct placement position offers a consistent schedule from Monday to Friday, 7am - 3:30pm, with potential overtime as needed. Tasked with a variety of responsibilities, you will handle the loading and unloading of raw and finished sweetener products directly from rail carts, both indoors and outdoors. You will operate forklifts, tractors, and other machinery, and engage in manual labor involving lifting, pulling, and shifting items up to 50 lbs. Your role will also encompass cleaning, maintaining work areas, and sanitizing trailers, among other duties. Reporting directly to the Production Manager, your role is crucial in maintaining the smooth operation of our facility. **Hard Skills** + Loading and unloading + Operating forklifts, tractors, trailers, and moving railcars + Manufacturing sucrose, invert & other specific products + Use of hand tools and power/air tools **Soft Skills** + Ability to work flexible hours + Ability to recognize emergency situations + Effective communication + Team collaboration **Job Type** This is a permanent position. **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in Salunga-Landisville, Pennsylvania. **Work Environment** The work environment involves both indoor and outdoor settings within a manufacturing context. Employees will be exposed to various weather conditions.
