Production Operator
**Job Title: Production Operator** **Job Description** Founded in 1905 as a maker of innovative screw machines, the company evolved to be one of the leading manufacturers of precision machined components and assemblies. In 2014, the automotive business from the company's New York and North Carolina facilities became part of MacLean-Fogg Component Solutions. MacLean manufactures precision machined automotive components for powertrain, safety-critical, and other automotive applications. The company maintains a commitment to modern manufacturing technology, demonstrates a collective talent for creative problem-solving in engineering, incorporates stringent quality assurance measures, and subscribes to award-winning customer service philosophies. **Responsibilities** + Assist Operators with materials assigned to run equipment. + Ensure that items produced pass quality control requirements. + Train with operators to learn how to perform moderately advanced troubleshooting of equipment and perform adjustments. + Read and interpret blueprints if applicable. + Use moderately advanced measuring instruments. + Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately. + Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.). + Follow all Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies and procedures. + Perform other duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + 3+ years of experience in machine operation and production line. + Proficiency in measurement tools such as hand gauges and calipers. + Ability to read blueprints. + Attention to detail. + Experience with CNC machines and operation. + Basic mathematical skills. + Experience in metal manufacturing. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Blueprint experience is a huge plus but not required. + CNC experience preferred but open to mechanically inclined candidates and will train them into the role. + Experience with Murata CNC Machines and Multi-spindle Screw machines is an advantage. + Ability to utilize measuring tools and log inputs into the HMI screen on the machine. **Why Work Here?** Competitive pay with opportunities for pay raise every 6 months until top out, internal bidding systems for promotions, and benefits offered including PTO upon conversion. It is a newer facility where you will work with Operators and Production workers on shift.
