Become a Production Technician and play a vital role in environmental sustainability.

We're seeking a dedicated Production Technician to join our team in Springfield, Illinois. You'll be responsible for safely operating a Carbon Capture Recovery Amine Unit, a cutting-edge technology that helps reduce carbon emissions. Your duties will include performing routine tasks, operating a control board, troubleshooting processes, and working outdoors. We're looking for a motivated candidate who is eager to learn and grow within our company.

This is a 24/7 operation, so you must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Pay rate is $54.51/hour and you must join a union.

Startup, shutdown and operate all process equipment and plant.Reading and interpreting Process Diagrams, and Electrical One Line Diagrams.Have a working knowledge of an Operator Interface Unit (Unit Board Operations).Monitors process performance and makes appropriate adjustments to remedy deviations and align to the specified norm.Operates units to continuously, safely and complying with all environmental regulations and daily customer requirements.Safely operate, troubleshoot rotating equipment, and associated mechanical systems including compressors, pumps, blowers, and valves.Laboratory Testing of Process Grab Samples.Assist facility in supporting process training efforts, and environmental compliance documentation as well as minor maintenance activities associated with plant operations.

High School Diploma or equivalent is requiredProduction Operations experience in an industrial environmentWorking extended hours and/or weekends, holidays and call-ins may be requiredDupont Work Schedule

Associate Requirements HS Diploma or GED Background Check Able to Lift 20 pounds Drug Test Stand for Shift Duration Must be at least 18 years old The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $54.51 - $54.51 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law.
