Olsten Staffing is assisting a local client in Marshville, North Carolina to find an experienced and eager production operator to join their growing team! The main responsibility of a production operator is to maintain constant loading of 2x4 wooden runners into the back of a pallet machine. Temp will also be responsible for placing runners into slots to begin process of automatic nailing of completed pallets. **Qualifications:** + Excellent attendance + Excellent hand/eye coordination + Ability to use a tape measure + Ability to perform a variety of physical movements to include bending, twisting, lifting, pulling, and pushing + Good visual contact in order to maintain good quality lumber + Able to work independently. Willing to learn and assist Viking Operator position. + Follow established EWPI safety rules to include special emphasis on Lock-out/Tag-out procedures + Refer questionable matters to work leader or supervisor + Work in a safe manner + Maintain clean and orderly work area Pay rate for this position begins at $13.50 - $14.00 an hour with a chance to become permanent with the client.
