The Production Operator is responsible for setting up equipment used in the production of disposable and porous metal filters. In this role you will monitor and perform verification testing of processes and product. This role will promote continuous improvement and adheres to all health and safety procedures. In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn different machines and processes.
This position is part of the Manufacturing Operations department and will be located in Cortland, NY and will be an onsite role.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
+ Operate all equipment used in the production, assembly and testing of disposable filters.
+ Perform any operation/procedures required in the production of disposable filters to maintain efficiencies and meet customer needs.
+ Participate in DBS events to promote continuous improvement
The essential requirements of the job include:
+ High school diploma or equivalent (i.e. GED)
+ Knowledge of “shop math”
+ Ability to use measuring equipment (ruler, calipers, etc.)
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
+ Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 25 pounds and stand on your feet for the duration of the shift.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
+ Basic computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Excel)
+ Reading blueprints
Positions available working either Monday - Friday 2:30pm - 11:00pm (or) Sunday - Thursday 10:00pm - 6:30am.

The hourly range for this role is $22.00-$28.00. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
