Job Summary
Join our team in Memphis, TN as a Production Operator!Employees in positions allocated to this series will be responsible for replenishing ingredients, chemicals and supplies, sanitation work, and clean up. Jobs in this category include various positions in a high performance, fast paced, industrial production environment.
Typical duties of the job include but not limited to :
Communicate clearly in English both verbally and writtenWear appropriate required safety gearAttend work regularly and reliablyWork rotating shifts as assignedWork overtime as scheduled or directedPerform other duties as assignedOperate computers to access/utilize company e-mail and to monitor equipmentDemonstrate awareness of/compliance with all pertinent safety policies and proceduresMaintain a clean and organized work environmentOperate mobile equipment in a safe mannerParticipate in work related training programs and adhere to Company Core ValuesReport pertinent information to appropriate company personnelFollow proper “Good Manufacturing Practices” and 5S practices Operate electronic or computerized control panel from a central control room to monitor and optimize physical and operational process Clearly and accurately report and document pertinent information to appropriate company personnelControl process start-up, operation, normal/emergency shutdown of the sectionMonitor process equipmentAdjust equipment, valves, pumps and controls and process equipmentAuthorize or co-sign maintenance work ordersShutdown, isolate and prepare process units or production equipment for maintenanceSample products, perform tests, record data, carry out statistical process control on process operations and write production logsDump ingredients when required Follow “Process Operator Standards” Provide support to the processing and production operations of the site Operate and maintain production equipmentClean and lubricate equipmentPerform the physical job demandsPerform job duties in a manner that follow food safety and quality guidelines including but not limited to HACCP, GMPs, QA Policies, Sanitation, and Pest Control.Requirements:
