Job Description

Hourly Rate:  $25.66

Schedule: 12 hour rotating shifts

The Production Operator is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door and begin growing your career in the glass manufacturing industry.  This role is responsible for observing production lines to ensure they are running smoothly and there are no impediments.  

The Production Operator will:

Monitor the controls to ensure the palletizer machines continue to operate effectivelyClear any jams that impede the production lineInspect cartons and bottles for any obvious defectsPerform minor maintenance to ensure the palletizers are working smoothlyRotate/transfer among departments as directed

The Production Operator should:

Have a strong mechanical aptitudeHave good interpersonal skillsBe highly safety consciousBe able to work 12 hour rotating shifts and overtime, as required

QualificationsAt least 18 years of ageHigh School diploma or GEDPrevious manufacturing experience is preferred
