Onin Staffing is hiring a Production Operator/Tech for one of our clients who is relocating to Montgomery, IL. The Production Operator/Tech is responsible for achieving all production goals and maintaining productivity to ensure complete customer satisfaction through production value and employee effectiveness.
Training will be done in their Plainfield facility until they move the production work to the Montgomery site in late spring/early summer.
Work Experience
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Follow packaging instructions to properly complete a pack out.
• Assist with the cleaning of equipment and other department cleaning procedures.
• Review and complete assigned work orders.
• Assist with the general assembly of boxes and other required packages.
• Assist with the warehouse, production, and rail yard sanitation.
• Inspect products to identify and remove contaminations.
• Assist with floor loads and other restacking projects.
• Assist with work orders for repacks. i.e. box to bag, box to box, super sack to box.
• Assist with railcar/container hook-ups.
• Assist with box/super sack to bulk truck repacks.
• Assist with the department's recycling program, including gathering and bailing of corrugated cardboard, liners, super sacks, etc.
• All other duties as assigned.
