Job Description

Contractors will be working on the production floor, standing for 9+ hours a day. They will start off as a machine assistant, standing at the end of a machine collecting cardboard. It is a very fast-paced environment, with some machines producing 400 boxes per minute. The role involves constant movement and lifting, including inspecting boxes by following a tape measure. During slow periods, they need to stay motivated and find tasks to do, such as sweeping. Additionally, they will work in the baler room, picking up excess materials and putting them in the baler room.

Work Environment

The facility is not climate controlled but is relatively clean. It maintains a comfortable temperature during the winter and can get warm during the summer due to the machines. The dress code includes steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00
