Danone North America is looking for a High Tech Operator in Minster, Ohio.
The Production High Tech Operator position is in the Packaging area of the plant, where our delicious yogurt is filled into cups and bottles. The position is a combination of manual tasks such as physically loading raw materials into production equipment as well as technical tasks such as operating computer systems and troubleshooting process breakdowns. The Production High Tech Operator performs hourly quality checks which includes tasting the yogurt and also cleans and sanitizes the production equipment. Danone's fast-paced environment requires successful employees to be on their feet most of their shift 12-hour shift, and to have a high attention to quality and working safely. In this position you will wear a free uniform that includes steel toed shoes, safety eyewear, ear plugs, hairnet and bump cap.
Specific Responsibilities:
Operate production fluid control systemsVerify target weights and meet target through the application of statistical process controlPerform quality checks and accuracy of materials/productsConsistently communicate with all departments involved in production process (e.g., warehouse, distribution, processing, fruit room, scheduling)Troubleshoot and respond to process breakdownsDocument inventory of consumed raw materials and suppliesObtain sample product for quality lab testingCleaning and sanitation tasks (e.g., general housekeeping, disposal of waste material, scraps, etc.)Other duties as assigned
The Production High Tech Operator base rate is $27.52 plus night shift premium of $1.00/hr!. The base rate increases to $28.97/hr after one year.
