Purpose of Position
Set up, adjust and operate all pre-grind blade making machinery and peripheral equipment to obtain product of acceptable quality.
Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Procedures
Set up, adjust and operate machinery and equipment to obtain product of acceptable quality.
As required, perform preventive maintenance
Perform and record Quality checks.
As required, relieve operators.
Perform other duties as required.
Required Skills and Experience
Must have at least six (6) months of manufacturing experience
Must be mechanically inclined.
Must be able to correctly read and interpret instruments and gages.
Must be able to calculate basic math.
Hands-on experience in general mechanics.
Past experience with various hand tools and gages.
Good Interpersonal Skills
Strong Communication Skills, both Verbal and Written.
Demonstrates quality awareness and attention to details.
Demonstrates problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
Preferred Skills and Experience
Previous experience in Stamping, Perforating or Heat-Treating a plus.
