Job Description

We are looking for a Production Operator to join our Roll Forming Plant/Department. The Production Operator will operate a Roll Former to manufacture gutter down pipes. Safety is our highest priority, and the Production Operator will be responsible for operating the machine safely, assembling boxes, adding shipping labels, and inspecting parts for quality. The role also involves using a tape measure for measurements, closing boxes, and moving finished products to the warehouse using a pallet jack. The ideal candidate must have a strong mechanical aptitude and be proficient with hand tools.

ResponsibilitiesOperate a Roll Former machine to manufacture gutter down pipes.Ensure safety protocols are strictly followed.Assemble boxes and add shipping labels.Perform quality checks through visual inspection and tape measure.Close boxes and add them to a pallet.Move finished products to the warehouse using a pallet jack.Understand and handle RAM (pressure machine).Use hand tools effectively.Essential SkillsPrevious experience as a machine operator.Proficiency in using a tape measure.Mechanical aptitude.Basic math skills (able to pass a math test).Experience in packing and material handling.Knowledge of metal rolling and metal stamping.Proactive and self-starting attitude.Additional Skills & QualificationsBasic math test will be given.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work environment is industrial, clean, and part of a large complex. It is not climate controlled. The schedule is Monday to Thursday, from 6 AM to 6:30 PM, with 48 hours scheduled per week. There is a 30-minute unpaid lunch break and two 15-minute breaks. Occasionally, work may be required on some Fridays.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Atlanta, Georgia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
