Position: Production Operator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Operator to join our team in the medical device manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating machinery, assembling products, and ensuring quality control throughout the production process. The role requires adherence to strict industry standards, including GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and ISO regulations, to maintain the highest quality of medical devices.
Key Responsibilities:
Machine Operation & Assembly:
Operate production equipment and machinery used in the manufacturing of medical devices.
Assemble parts and components in accordance with production specifications and blueprints.
Ensure that all equipment is operating efficiently and safely.
Quality Assurance & Inspection:
Conduct regular inspections of products to ensure they meet quality standards.
Perform in-process checks to ensure that the production process is compliant with specifications.
Document any deviations or issues and escalate to the supervisor for corrective action.
Material Handling:
Safely handle raw materials, components, and finished goods.
Ensure that materials are stocked and readily available for production.
Process Adherence & Safety Compliance:
Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
Adhere to safety protocols to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Report any safety hazards or potential risks immediately.
Documentation & Reporting:
Accurately complete all production logs and documentation required for tracking and regulatory compliance.
Maintain detailed records of production output, quality checks, and any equipment malfunctions.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with other operators, technicians, and supervisors to ensure smooth production processes.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and training programs.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly in medical devices, is highly desirable. Basic knowledge of machine operation and assembly techniques. Understanding of quality control standards, including GMP and ISO 13485. Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks with precision. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Excellent communication skills and ability to follow instructions. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues. Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25-50 lbs., and perform manual labor as required.
