Job DescriptionPrepare product for painting, which includes but is not limited to:sandingtapingwashing downClean reservoirs prior to and post hydraulic testingMix coatings per manufacturing instructions as necessaryApply coatings to specific tolerances and customers specificationsSelf inspect work prior to finish painterReport Volatile Organic Compound (VOC)Keep painting equipment in running operationAssemble manifold and power unit ordersMaintain a clean work areaFollow 5S cleaning schedulePerform other essential and related peripheral duties as assigned

QualificationsHigh school graduate or equivalent; vocational-technical training is preferredPrevious paint gun experience requiredSome industrial/commercial/autobody painting experience preferredFamiliarity with re-coat times, mill thickness, thickness equipment, pressure pot applicationAbility to use different types of hand toolsMust be capable of wearing a respiratorWillingness to learn; detail and quality orientedCapable of lifting up to 30 lbsAbility to work independently with minimal supervision
