Agilent Technologies is seeking a skilled and experienced Production Planner to join our Bioreagent team. The successful candidate will be responsible for resolving and developing approaches to assignments, leading production planning projects that require coordination with other functions and third parties, and solving a broad range of problems with varying scope and complexity. This role demands an individual who can work independently, possesses in-depth knowledge and experience, and has the ability to drive continuous improvement within the planning process.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement production planning strategies to meet organizational goals and customer demands.

Lead and coordinate production planning projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners.

Analyze and solve complex problems related to production planning, inventory management, and supply chain processes.

Act as a liaison between the marketing, sales, and production teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.

Monitor and influence KPIs, ensuring they remain within acceptable ranges through effective planning techniques.

Generate reports and provide data analysis to management for informed decision-making.

Continuously improve planning processes and techniques to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Lead make-to-order and make-to-stock planning processes to optimize production schedules.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree or University Degree, or equivalent experience

4+ years of relevant experience in production planning or a related field

In-depth knowledge and experience in production planning, with the ability to work independently

Proficiency in SAP, specifically in Planning and Inventory modules

Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)

Strong written communication skills, advanced proficiency in Excel, including data analysis and report generation

Experience in continuous improvement initiatives within the planning function

Knowledge of make-to-order and make-to-stock planning processes

Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, serving as a bridge between marketing, sales, and production

The US pay range for this full-time position is $91,568.00 - $143,075.00/yr, plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum new hire pay for the position across the relevant US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
