Plans, schedules, coordinates and/or monitors the flow of products through the complete production cycle. Provides timely planning and scheduling of manufacturing work orders to the manufacturing floor in order to achieve both internal financial goals and customer delivery dates.  

 

 

Key responsibilities:

 

Production planning, in order to: Creating and maintaining production schedules. Meet service-level target Daily monitoring of production progress against planning Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay Discuss with production supervisor & production manager, shifts according to production needs Monitor jobs to ensure production will finish on time Address issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption Obtain output information in SAP & excel (number of finished products, percentage of defectives etc.) Daily monitoring availability of components and raw materials Prepare and submit status and performance reports Keep paperwork organized Collaborate with and support quality control, production, warehouse and other staff

 

Coordination with Manufacturing team: Initiate and follow up meeting with production introduce stock corrections and take the necessary initiatives to improve stock cooperate in projects about stock reduction, Lean Manufacturing, Supply Continuity, Change control … Be part of the daily meetings Coordinate production workflow including blending Deliver input for documents and document changes

 

Follow up on service level issues and back order & priority list: Follow up with Global distribution planner on distribution issues Organize and initiate meetings with the global supply & demand planners Notify export team & Sales of any schedule impacts to customers

 

Safety: respect the valid instructions and procedures make up proposals for improvement of the safety level (IR and Seal) report accidents and incidents according to the procedure

 

Environment: respect the valid instructions and procedures

 

ISO: respect the valid instructions and procedures cooperate in the maintenance of procedures and instructions

Qualifications:

5-8 years of experience with demonstrated results in Operations, Inventory Management, Supply Chain Management, High proficiency with SAP (R/3, SAP APO and SAP BW/BEX reports) and MS Excel APICS certification preferred. Very good knowledge of Dutch and English
