Job Title: Production Planner

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Planner to join our team. This position offers an excellent opportunity to grow within the supply chain space and gain valuable experience in a national company.

ResponsibilitiesMonitor inventory levels and flag any issues to the sales and procurement counterparts.Create a weekly production plan schedule using the production and scheduling system.Develop a 6-12 month rolling production plan outlook and report any issues that might affect sales and operations.Identify and address issues such as shortages, unforeseen demand versus forecast, and supply issues.Communicate effectively between departments, especially when the sales team seeks to evaluate new opportunities.Essential SkillsMinimum of 2 years of experience within the supply chain.Experience in production planning, inventory management, or procurement (in descending order of relevance).Strong Excel skills, including the ability to create pivot tables and perform statistical analysis.Proficiency in Power BI for data visualization.Understanding of ERP systems, ideally SAP, and knowledge of MRP processes.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to deliver constructive feedback.Strong problem-solving abilities.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in the food & beverage or manufacturing or IT industry, with an understanding of the dynamics between local and national lines.Work Environment

This role requires being fully on-site for the first 6 months until passing probation, after which the schedule will shift to 3 days in the office and 2 days work from home.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.06 - $38.46
