Together, let's build a brighter, healthier future for all. **The Production Planner is responsible for developing and maintaining daily, mid, and long-term production schedules in alignment with Customer Service and Operational requirements. This role strives to uphold the highest standards of customer service by synchronizing with commercial activities, responding proactively to demand signals, and driving strategic inventory and coverage strategies. The Production Planner is dedicated to optimizing production efficiency and responsiveness, with a strong focus on meeting and exceeding customer expectations in product availability and delivery.** **Responsibilities include:** + **Production Line Management:** + **Develop weekly/monthly/annual production schedules to support business needs and collaborate with manufacturing plant planning teams, including material and logistics coordinator to optimize operations.** + **Review demand from SAP/APO to develop a production schedule to meet customer demands where appropriate; logistics and capacity constraints and Operations/Making parameters.** + **Capacity Management:** + **Perform regular capacity analysis to weigh demand against line time availability.** + **Establish resource needs, outsourcing potential, and communicate risks to the plan.** + **Partner Collaboration:** + **Collaborate with Global Supply Chain, Procurement, Customer Service & Logistics, CBS team, and external partners to drive efficiencies and achieve KPIs.** + **Work with Sales, Marketing, R&D, and Supply Chain for planning changes and development.** + **Maintain open communication lines with key vendors and share relevant business changes.** + **Participate in Vendor Continuous Improvement Teams.** + **Participate in activities/functions outside of Materials Planning to support plant initiatives.** + **Implement supply network strategies.** + **Alert Management:** + **Apply planning tools to identify and mitigate product shortages or over-production.** + **Work with SNP (Supply Network Planning) and DP (Demand Planning) teams to set priorities and adjust plans.** + **System-Driven Planning:** **Support quarterly master data updates in SAP and Planning Systems.** + **Ensure data integrity in SAP/APO for demand, inventory levels, BOMs, and material masters.** + **Manufacturing Coordination:** **Ensure plant adherence to production schedules while minimizing AU impact and meeting CTI (Cycle-Time Inventory) goals.** + **Inventory Management:** + **Manage inventory of finished goods and order raw/packaging materials to support production, service, and working capital objectives balancing with inventory targets and minimizing scrap and SLOB.** + **Maintain raw and packaging materials coverage.** + **Meeting Facilitation:** **Conduct/facilitate and participate as needed weekly scheduling and monthly planning meetings.** + **KPI Reporting:** **Report key performance indicators like schedule adherence, case fill, and inventory.** **Qualifications** **Required:** + **A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, logistics, planning or related field** + **2+ years in production, network planning, logistics or relevant experience in a manufacturing environment** + **Proficiency in Excel** + **SAP R3 system experience** + **Working knowledge of logistics and manufacturing systems** **Preferred:** + **APO experience** + **Experience applying analytical skills** + **DOMO, SIGMA, Macros, AI & Digital Tools experience** + **Kinaxis Rapid Response and Planet Together experience as well as basic understanding of SQL and data management systems.** + **Excellent communication and collaboration skills.** + **Ability to develop and maintain effective vendor relationships.** + **Ability to respond quickly to changing demand signals and adjust plans accordingly.** + **Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.** **Compensation and Benefits** Salary Range $ - $ USD Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
