Production Planner
**Job Description** **General Purpose:** Develop the schedule for production at the highest-level which products will be stocked or planned either prior to shipment or prior to assembly for made to order operations. **Job Duties and Responsibilities:** + Translate orders into a sequential work schedule + Analyze production specifications and capacity date and perform mathematical calculations to determine production processes and tools + Plan and schedule workflow for each department and operation according to previously established production sequences and lead times + Plan sequence of operations + Communicate with department supervisors to determine status of assigned projects + Expedite operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions + The requirements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by employee, but is not a complete list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required. Other duties may be assigned as required **Requirements** **Education and Experience:** + Undergraduate degree in business or related curriculum (or equivalent combination of experience and education) + 2 to 5 years of production planning or related experience + Certification and/or License – may be required during course of employment **Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:** + Knowledge of and skill with Microsoft Office Suite and company computer systems + Knowledge and understanding of planning and production methodologies + Strong understanding of plant processes in relation to production processes for each line + Skill in analytical thinking + Able to problem solve, multi-task and prioritize own work activities + Able to interact positively and work effectively with others (interpersonal skills) + Able to to conduct research into issues or situations + Must be able to read, write and speak English An Equal Opportunity Employer **Pay Range** $75,000-$85,000
