Job Description:

We are seeking a meticulous and adaptable Production Planner B specializing in Communications Security (COMSEC) to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in the coordination and issuance of cryptographic materials throughout the build process, interfacing with multiple departments to ensure seamless operations. This position demands a professional who thrives under pressure, exhibits exceptional interpersonal skills, and maintains a strong commitment to operational excellence.

Essential Functions:

Coordinate the physical and systematic distribution of COMSEC materials within L3Harris facilities.Analyze material configurations and job order statuses using advanced Windows-based computer systems and software.Liaise with COMSEC security teams to secure assets for issuance to shop orders during the build process.Decompose COMSEC hierarchies with precision to uphold configuration management and documentation integrity.Demonstrated ability to navigate high-stress situations with poise, confidence, and respect.Strong interpersonal skills with a knack for building relationships.Agile and adaptable to a dynamic workplace, proactively responding to new information, guidelines, and methodologies.Proven analytical abilities with a track record of identifying and implementing innovative solutions to complex issuesSolid understanding of the principles and procedures for managing cryptographic materials.Keen attention to detail coupled with robust organizational skills.Capable of working autonomously or collaboratively, effectively managing and resolving conflicts.Ability to interpret basic engineering instructions and drawings.

Qualifications:

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

Preferred experience in project or program execution techniques.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint).Familiarity with SAP or other ERP/MRP systems is advantageous.Eligibility to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense security clearance due to the sensitive nature of the work.Physical ability to lift, twist, and rotate items weighing up to 20 lbs. frequently, and up to 40 lbs. occasionally.Availability to work a 9/80 schedule with flexibility for overtime, weekend, holiday, and/or second shift as needed.
