Production Planner I
As a Production Planner I here at Honeywell, you will be accountable for planning and scheduling production activities to ensure timely and efficient manufacturing operations. You will report directly to our Production and Material Planning Leader and you'll work at our Houston, Texas location with hybrid possible after 90 days.
In this role, you will play a critical role in optimizing production schedules, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet customer demands and improve operational efficiency.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Create and maintain production schedules to meet customer demands and optimize resource utilization.
+ Collaborate with customer service, procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure the smooth execution of production plans.
+ Coordinate the production plan with material planning activities to avoid excess inventory at month-end while maintaining an efficient production schedule and minimizing stock levels.
+ Prepare and present regular reports on production status, and other performance indicators.
+ Identify and resolve production issues and bottlenecks to minimize disruptions. Continuously improve production planning processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
+ Maintain on time delivery and AOP goals.

YOU MUST HAVE
+ Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, x-lookups, index match, et al.)
+ Experience in planning or scheduling.
+ Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
WE VALUE
+ Bachelor’s degree.
+ Experience in materials management, inventory control, or procurement.
+ Strong attention to details
+ 1+ year of experience in Production Planning.
+ Proficiency in production planning software and tools.
+ Strong thoughtful and problem-solving skills.
+ Proficiency in production planning software and ERP (SAP, Orcel)
