Role Summary:
As part of a replacement in production planning, we are looking for a dedicated Production Planner (M/F/T) for our Itzehoe site at the earliest possible date.
In this challenging position you will be responsible for coordinating and managing production planning and scheduling for our vacuum and side channel pumps. You work closely with production, purchasing and other related areas to ensure optimal production flow.
Your tasks:
Managing all planning inputs: sales orders, OEM forecasts, custom / special orders, and strategic build plansUsing the MRP system, translating the consolidated sales forecasts into a master production schedule / build schedulePreparing and distributing weekly production schedules / work orders and dispatch listsPreparing KPI’s for production and leading shopfloor-management activitiesInitiating “make or buy” decisions together with the purchasing team and coordinating external/ internal machining/ assemblyAssisting management to resolve problems with late shipments, material shortages, customer schedule changes, and cancellations of customer ordersYour profile:
Fluency and proficiency in the practical application of MRP logic, scheduling logic, order policies, (rough cut) capacity planning, input/output control, product structures, routings, and standards maintenanceKnowledgeable in master scheduling, production planning and demand managementSuperior analytical and problem solving skillsGood communication and organizational skills required with the ability to work well with all levels of employees and internal departments in a diverse environmentProfessional experience with SAP R/3, SAP APO and/or SAP S/4 HANA preferredAdvanced Microsoft Excel skillsFluency in German and EnglishBS or BA Degree in relevant field and 5-7 years relevant experienceWe offer:
