Job Summary:
Plans, schedules, coordinates and monitors the flow of products through the complete production cycle. Provides timely planning and scheduling of the manufacturing work orders to the manufacturing floor to achieve both internal financial goals and customer delivery dates.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate delivery of parts to expedite flow of material to meet production schedule.Coordinate between warehouse and purchasing on material shortages.Notify Sales of any schedule impacts to customersCoordinate/expedite manufacturing builds to ensure schedules are achieved.Monitor production performance to the master production schedule.Completes status reports, such as production progress, customer information and materials inventory.Updates production status boards daily with production status and percent completeExercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.Performs other duties as required.Requirements:
Must have high school diploma or equivalent school/work experience.Experience in scheduling or a similar role preferred.Proficient in Excel, Outlook, and WordWell organized and able to manage multiple tasks.Good interpersonal communicationDemonstrate superior time management skills.Good customer service skillsAble to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writingAdditional InformationGE offers a great work environment, professional development, challenging careers, and competitive compensation.
