IQ Resource Group is looking for a Plating Production Masker to join our 2nd shift team in St. Paul MN! This is Direct Hire! Pay: $18.00 per hour Location: St. Paul, MN
Hours: Full-Time | 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM (Monday – Friday) This role is essential in preparing parts for the plating process by applying masking materials to ensure quality coatings. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the integrity of the masking process to prevent contamination, overspray, and defects, all while maintaining our commitment to quality and safety. Responsibilities: Apply masking materials (tapes, plugs, silicone, etc.) to parts per specifications. Inspect parts before and after masking to ensure accuracy and quality. Rotate between different masking tasks as needed. Identify and report any defects or inconsistencies in the masking process. Maintain a clean and organized workspace. Follow all safety guidelines and quality standards. Requirements: High school diploma or GED. Experience in plating, masking, or production preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to perform visual inspections. Familiarity with masking materials such as tapes, plugs, and rubber-based products. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods. Safety-conscious and able to follow OSHA regulations. Strong knowledge foundation on production quality and standards. Experience in nail salons is a big advantage.
