The Production Print Analyst is responsible for providing expert technical advice and consulting with the Production Print Specialist, sales teams, and customers in the design and implementation of complex and enterprise production hardware, solutions, and professional services. Provide technical support in sales presentations, customer training, and the delivery of professional services and produce customer samples. Focuses on Workflow, Applications, and ultimate customer need, solving for total solution.
Responsibilities Work directly with Production Print Specialist in achieving branch and regional sales goals and maintaining our customer’s experience.Be the subject matter expert and technical advisor throughout the sales cycle for software workflow solutions, working closely with the sales team and leveraging professional services.Meet with customers to understand applications and workflow to formulate solutions.Collaborate with the sales team to evaluate prospective customers to devise account strategies which leverage production print solutions.Actively participate in sales calls.Contribute to RFP responses and project manage the implementation of more complex solutions.Assist with preparation of high-value sales proposals, validating accurate configurations and workflows.Facilitate application testing for customer print samples and proof-of-concept support for proposed workflow solutions.Provide installation and integration guidance for advanced color solutions.Partner with the sales, service, & operations groups to ensure show room floor equipment is properly running, linearized, calibrated & substrate levels adequate for customer demonstrations. Qualifications Production-Specific Expertise: Certification in color management like FOGRA, G7, GRACoL, and/or iccMAX, strong working knowledge and certification in production print servers (DFE) like (EFI, Creo, Prisma, Fuji) and a deep understanding of color profiling systems, screening sets, color calibration, ICC profiles, as well as familiarity with black and white production printing and associated host data streams and conversion software products. Additionally, possess working knowledge of digital automation, workflow solutions, and third-party finishing.Hardware & Systems Knowledge: Proficiency in Mac and PC hardware. Knowledge of Unix/Linix operating systems a plus.Software Proficiency: Comfortable using Adobe Creative Suite, Corel Draw, QuarkXPress, and other standard color composition and management tools, including file formats such as JPEG, TIFF, EPS, and PDF.Strong Networking Knowledge: Understands networking, basic network topology and security.Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Experience: A relevant educational background or equivalent practical experience is required, along with at least 5 years of related experience.Business Experience in Printing Pre-Sales/Post-Sales Support: Familiarity with production environments and a track record of providing excellent support.Travel Requirements: There will be some travel required with overnight stays. A valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record are necessary. Certain minimum auto insurance coverages are also required.

Compensation for this position
The compensation range for this role is $67,950- $119,300. The listed salary range or contractual rate excludes bonuses, incentives, differential pay, and any other forms of compensation or benefits. The starting salary will be determined by several variables, including but not limited to experience, education, training, certification, and location. You may also be eligible to receive an annual discretionary incentive award, commissions, and program-specific awards, which are subject to the rules governing these programs.
