Disney CreativeWorks Studio is a full-service branded content studio and creative agency with global scale, proprietary insights and data, unparalleled access to the world's most valuable IP, and a legacy of captivating clients and audiences everywhere. We are responsible for creative, strategy, and production of custom branded entertainment and sponsored content solutions across all Disney Entertainment platforms and channels - Hulu, Disney+, ABC, FX, National Geographic, Freeform, Disney Channels, and Disney Branded Television.
We function as a critical revenue-generating content studio inside TWDC. Our workflow takes content solutions from creative development, pitching, and multi-platform production, through delivery and distribution across all media platforms.
Key stakeholders and partners across the enterprise include Disney Ad Sales, Disney Entertainment Marketing, Movie Studios Marketing, Development and Current Series teams, Publicity & Communications, show creators, show talent, Legal, BA, Finance, and S&P. Additionally, we are client-facing as we pitch and sell-through our content solutions across all segments and categories of the business.
Job Summary:
The Production/Project Management Associate for Disney CreativeWorks will report into the Director, Project Management & Production and support the broader Disney CreativeWorks team both during the RFP and production processes.
RFP Process: Project managing the RFP process from request through to delivery of concepts to ensure proper documentation, tracking, and assignment via our project management system and archiving of responses. Additionally responsible for regularly gaining insight from sales partners on the status of RFPs and updating systems appropriately.
Production/Post Process: Assisting producers in processing talent paperwork, coordinating production travel, issuing/tracking talent payment, processing production invoices.
Responsibilities:
Coordination and project management of RFP process including monitoring incoming requests, coordination of brainstorming and tracking of project assignments/deliverables.
Maintain/update project tracking systems for both RFPs and productions.
Asset Management/archiving with vendors, clients and internal partners.
Assist with onboarding of contracted talent.
Work with accounting to process invoices
Specific clerical tasks including but are not limited to: coordinating conference calls and meetings, ordering team office supplies, and archiving files.
Attend creative brainstorms to track assignments and contribute creative ideas.
Provide outstanding customer service with the ability to form and continue key internal and external client relationships.
Flexibility to occasionally work outside normal business hours in the event of deadlines or projects.
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience working in an administrative support/project management role, preferably in a production/media environment.
Demonstrated time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Extreme attention to detail.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize project workflow and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Basic understanding of video production workflow and entertainment industry.
Basic understanding of Media Ad Sales, including linear, streaming and digital/social.
Experience working in a creative agency with a desire to grow in a project management/production environment.
Experience creating creative presentations/decks – familiarity with Adobe Photoshop a plus.
Branded Content experience.
Proficiency in project management software such as AirTable, SmartSheet, or similar preferred.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of related work experience
***Please note, this team is in office 4x/week (Monday – Thursday, working from home on Friday) from either our Burbank, CA or NYC office.
The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $58,700.00 to $78,600.00 per year and in New York, NY is $61,500.00 to $82,300.00 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
