As a Production Reliability & Facility Engineer at our location in Nivelles you will play a key role in maintaining and optimizing the reliability and performance of our production equipment and facility infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure operational excellence, improve maintenance strategies, and drive continuous improvements.

Your Responsibilities

Plan, organize, and execute preventive maintenance activities for production and facility equipment (e.g., cleanroom, HVAC, water treatment, compressed air, alarm systems).

Ensure effective maintenance management to optimize equipment performance and operational reliability.

Conduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis to minimize recurring issues.

Develop and implement maintenance strategies based on risk assessments and operational needs.

Analyze equipment performance data to identify trends and implement continuous improvement actions.

Apply Lean and best practice methodologies to enhance maintenance efficiency.

Serve as a liaison between Manufacturing, Quality, Validation, Development, Supply Chain, and Project Management teams.

Manage relationships with suppliers, define and manage maintenance contracts, and ensure the continuity of business operations.

Support technical challenges related to compliance, audits, and regulatory matters.

Contribute to investment and energy efficiency projects to improve operational environment.

Support Qualification & Validation of new equipment and systems.

Assist in FAT (Factory Acceptance Tests) and provide guidance to the service team on maintenance strategies.

Your Profile

Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or similar).

Several years of experience in technical maintenance, reliability, or project roles, preferably within the life sciences industry.

Strong experience in maintenance strategies and ideally in cleanroom, HVAC, compressed air, or water treatment systems.

Knowledge of validation and compliance is a strong plus.

Fluent in English and French.

Hands-on approach, self-driven with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficient in using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
