• Understand the purpose and functions of hand sorting, hand palletizing, forklift operations, cleaning/foaming of equipment and clean/maintain work area
• Adhere to all safety practices throughout the campus of the Plant, LOTO-TO procedures, forklift safety (operator and pedestrian), security practices and personal protective equipment requirements. Support the safe daily practices such as but not limited to: hoses rolled up when not in use, maintain tools in appropriate/designated areas, properly conduct and document forklift safety and operational checks, adhere to trailer jack.
• Comply with the Plant' Quality Assurance practices: Good Manufacturing Practices, cleaning CBM procedures, accurately complete required documents related to quality checks, complete Master Sanitation Schedules when needed, COP all hoses and pipes, support the equipment rinse/clean/sanitize practices, and work within established quality procedures and standards to ensure food safety.
• Support the Plant's policies, guidelines, and rules, cross train as directed by Manager/Supervisor, report for assigned shifts/meetings, and perform other duties as directed.
• Assist operations to maintain action item register and track progress of improvements.
• Provide changeover support and break relief once fully cross-trained on designated positions.
• Perform other duties as directed by supervisors.
