Production Scheduler
**Description** **Position Title: Production Scheduler** **Division: AGI Oak Bluff** **Location: 140 Parkland Road, Oak Bluff, MB R4G 0A5** **About AGI** AGI is a global food-based infrastructure company publicly traded in Canada. With over 4,200 employees and over 30 global manufacturing brands, AGI is a leading provider of equipment and technology solutions for agricultural commodities including seed, fertilizer, grain and feed systems and an expanding platform for food processing facilities. **The Opportunity** This role will be responsible for master project schedules in Oracle ERP based on company engineering and production capacity, ensuring 100% accuracy of all schedules, monitoring and tracking of production progress to ensure customer orders are produced for shipments, and to track build out progress. The role will work closely with various team members and stakeholders to ensure effective coordination and communication throughout the project lifecycle. **Responsibilities** + Develop and manage an integrated master schedule for all projects or operations, considering dependencies, constraints, and resource availability. + Coordinate preliminary weekly/daily schedules with Operations Manager to include critical requirements. + Utilize purchased part shortage reports to assist in manufacturing planning. + Create and monitor production hours reports, identify discrepancies or errors in reporting and make adjustments in time tracking system as necessary. + Identify and communicate “at risk” deliveries to appropriate stakeholders to ensure customer expectations are met or managed. + Establish communication channels with supervisors for feedback regarding the schedule, encouraging input from team members to improve the accuracy and effectiveness of future schedules. + Address conflicts or disagreements related to scheduling, or priorities, and finding collaborative solutions that keeps the project on track. + Encourage consensus among team members and stakeholders regarding key scheduling decisions, ensuring that everyone is aligned with the project plan. + Establish a feedback loop where team members can provide input on the feasibility and accuracy of the schedule, contributing to continuous improvement. + Work closely with supervisors to provide scheduling guidance, labor equipment and M2M training and support to ensure motivation. + Address production issues promptly, troubleshoot problems and implement corrective actions to minimize disruptions to production process. + Monitor project progress and identify any deviations from the schedule, taking proactive measures to address delays or other issues. + Review engineering change notices (ECN) and ensure any additional manufacturing requirements are accounted for. + Data analysis and reporting of key performance indicators such as: delivery performance, backlog, and performance to master schedule. + Serve as a change advocate and matter expert (SME) for ERP production planning and scheduling modules. + Continuously improve scheduling processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy. + Train and mentor project team members on best practices for schedule management and adherence as required. **What We Offer** + Competitive compensation + Monday to Friday: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm + Employee Bonus Program + On the job training and advancement opportunities + Great company and team culture + Health, Dental Benefits and Life Insurance + RRSP/DPSP matching and Employee Stock Purchase Plan with match + Short/Long term disability **What We Are Looking For** + Bachelor’s degree, or Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College. Certification in project management, such as PMP (Project Management Professional), is highly desirable. + 5+ years’ experience in project management and scheduling. + 2+ years experience working in top tier ERP systems. Experience with Oracle Cloud highly desirable. + Experience in manufacturing material purchasing would be considered an asset. + Demonstrated ability to manage complex schedules in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. + Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills. + Prior experience in development of scheduling tools and processes is desired. + Knowledge of LEAN and Six Sigma Manufacturing process and methodologies a plus; as is a green or black belt certification. + Experience with and understanding of multiple planning systems (MS Project, ERP, JIT) is preferred.
