This position is part of our Omnium division. Omnium is your loyal partner in the manufacturing of crop protection, adjuvant and plant nutrition products. Our team adheres to stringent safety protocols and environmental stewardship standards.
The Production Scheduler will support the operations team by coordinating, planning, and scheduling production packaging & formulations operations. Scheduling of production weekly by ensuring sound inventories, product availability, and final product management. Responsibilities include reviewing the internal Omnium schedule, customer schedules, managing production changes, maintain bill of materials in computerized work systems as well as creating and updating through management of change. Monitoring of work-in-progress, managing end of run campaigns (EOR). Production 4-week rolling schedule based on equipment capacity is also required. Coordinate with Maintenance Planner role to facilitate timely scheduled preventive maintenance activities.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Coordinates production runs by reviewing the Omnium schedule, maintaining on-hand materials to minimize downtime and labor costs.
Communicates needs and work closely with the logistics team to update and record material deliveries, manage inventories to ensure that all materials are available prior to upcoming production runs.
Monitors, identifies and maintains non-conformity materials and resolve customer complaints in a timely manner.
Initiate and coordinate all Pre-Production plans and develop schedules for quarterly reviews.
Assists with batch sheet creation and verifies that batch sheet lists items in proper order of addition.
Verify product integrity by reviewing and updating Bill of Materials (BOMs), customer product codes, company product codes, and inert material changes.
Provide strong communication links with all internal departments, and internal employees to solve problems and provide greater customer satisfaction.
Participate in weekly production planning meetings & validate schedules.
Participate in daily production meeting, provide schedule status, compliance metrics to team.
Generate performance gap reports.
Initiate, create and maintain complaint tracking information and organize current process.
Meet with Maintenance Planner to incorporate maintenance PM activities.
Provide management with continuous improvement ideas within scope of production planning & scheduling
Required Education/Experience:
High School Diploma
2+ years manufacturing experience
Microsoft Office Suite experience
Good communication skills
Hours: 1st Shift; Mon - Fri - 8:00 am - 4:00 pm. Must be open to working 4 days, 10 hour shifts starting in the next couple of months.
Salary: $50,240 - $75,360
