Summary/Objective: The Production Scheduler will be responsible for the management of production schedules to ensure 100% on-time delivery of customer orders. Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Analyze sales order releases with respect to the capacity planning and material requirements. Complete shipping information and delivery date input. Order floor stock with shelf-life material for production. Interface with manufacturing personnel, purchasing personnel, etc. on material status and production planning issues. Working Conditions: Primarily working indoors, office environment. May sit for several hours at a time. Prolonged exposure to computer screens. Repetitive use of hands to operate computers, printers, and copiers. Qualifications: List all education & experience required for the role. Include years of experience with specific requirements. Minimum of a high school diploma or GED but need to have the ability to read and type. Computer proficiency in computer programs like Excel spreadsheets and Word documents. A sense of urgency and ownership is required. Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and positive attitude. This position requires the employee to frequently stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. This is largely a sedentary role and will require sitting in a chair. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time salary position, and hours of work and days are decided by production and the Plant Manager Travel: There is minimal to no travel with this position. Preferred Education and Experience: Associates Degree 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of AX and or Navision is helpful but not required. Work Authorization/Security Clearance Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
