Job Description

California Closets of Charleston, SC is looking to expand our team in the Installation department.  If you have an aptitude for woodworking, a valid SCDL, a good driving record and are able to work independently, we would like to consider you for a position with our organization.  We provide equipment and training, as well as a competitive pay scale for this outstanding opportunity.

The main responsibility of this position is to produce our products in a safe, efficient and effective manner, upholding the business & personal ethics along with the customer satisfaction levels that our clients have come to expect, and that California Closets has always stood for.

Duties and Responsibilities:

maintain a commitment to client satisfaction, customer service and excellenceperform skilled and semi-skilled carpentry work to create custom storage systems such as closets, cabinets, offices, and other spacesutilize provided CAD drawings to produce systems properly and efficiently.maintain shop tools and equipment in safe working orderpartake in training programs as needed and as requiredprovide a high level of customer service when neededmaintain safety standards at all times.operating company-provided vehicles in a safe manner.  perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualificationsmust maintain a valid driver's license and good driving recordHigh School diploma or equivalent preferred, but not requiredexperience with common hand and power toolstrade or vocational school experience desirablecabinetry or carpentry skills desirablestrong verbal and written communication and listening skillsmaintain a strong work ethicpossess reliable transportation to and from our facilityacceptable post-offer drug screenability to pass background testable to walk, lift 50 pounds, reach, stoop, stand, grasp, balance, climb stairs, kneel, and crouch

Additional Information

Hourly Pay range:  $17.00 to $25.00

          range depends on experience, skill-sets and fit for the position

Performance Based Compensation:  varies based on productivity, efficiency & effectiveness
