The **American Heart Association** has an excellent opportunity for a **Production Specialist, Creative Services** in our National Center office located in **Dallas, Texas.**
***** **This position requires a** **hybrid schedule (working in-office and at home).***
The Specialist will manage daily and recurring project activities relating to the general operations and management of the department and work independently to accomplish project-related goals in support of the American Heart Association. This role will support organizing meetings and teleconferences as needed, coordinating regular communications with internal and external stakeholders and database management.

**Responsibilities**
+ Produce and shoot high-quality digital media including video, audio, and live broadcasts (storyboard as needed). Including the facilitation of on-location video production (logistics, talent, and crew.
+ Edit and manage postproduction including graphics, color, and audio for video, social media, podcasts, and other digital assets such as magazines, interactive tools, apps, blogs, and patient forums.
+ Manage day-to-day operations of in-house studio including equipment inventory and digital assets as well as maintain in-house AV equipment.
+ Build and maintain effective working relationships with staff, volunteers, writers, editors, support professionals, and third-party vendors.
+ Manage bandwidth, scheduling of multimedia projects, developing and managing project and production schedules identifying additional digital content freelancers to supplement the team or resolving schedule conflicts and invoicing.
+ Archive all video assets using production standards for Marketing and Communications digital asset management system.
+ Administrative activities including, but not limited to expenses, invoice processing, vendor setup, contracts, etc.
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
+ 3 + years of experience with digital content creation and marketing preferred.
+ Experience operating live streaming equipment (Riverside, Zoom)
+ Experience with film & photography equipment including cine cameras, DSLRs, audio recording, and lighting equipment.
+ Great knowledge of video production software, particularly Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Premiere, and Photo, Aftereffects, Envato, DaVinci Resolve
+ Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective video requirements
+ Proficiency in video lighting and audio recording and management
+ Able to communicate, build relationships, gain trust and effectively work with and through volunteers.
+ Able to instill spirit and feeling of belonging with volunteers.
+ Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external members, volunteers, customers, vendors, authorities and affiliates.
+ Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to handle high-pressure and time-sensitive situations during the production process
+ Up-to-date knowledge of multimedia studio production technology and techniques in the industry, with the ability to provide guidance to leadership on advancements and best practices to maintain a state-of-the-art environment.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Canva
