Our client, a _world-leading_ medical device company focused on improving lives through innovative, consumer-centered solutions is seeking a **Production Specialist** .
**Location:** Fairfield County, CT
**Pay:** $18-21/hr
**Schedule:** Monday-Friday 7a-330p
**Contract to Hire**
Responsibilities:
+ Perform critical inspections and tests for MARA Vapor Probe during the final inspection phase, using both Manual and Auto Modes.
+ Configure and maintain equipment including the FISO EEPROM Programming Station, Vapor Generator, and Auto Mode Console.
+ Program EEPROM data onto Vapor Probe using FISO IQC Software.
+ Verify sensor coefficients, probe serial numbers, and AEGEA data for accuracy.
+ Conduct pressure sensor accuracy tests and leak inspections by regulating air pressure and measuring Pressure Decay.
+ Operate Vapor Generator for functional inspections such as Balloon Leak Inspection, Impedance Testing, and Visual/Functional Inspections of components.
+ Ensure all inspections meet dimensional and functional standards.
+ Document inspection results, including Pass/Fail status, sensor readings, and serial numbers.
+ Report and document rejected assemblies, detailing failure types.
+ Maintain compliance with company quality standards and SOPs.
+ Assist in identifying reworkable failures and document necessary rework steps.
+ Troubleshoot equipment and ensure equipment integrity during operations.
Requirements:
+ Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex procedures.
+ Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Google Docs for documentation purposes.
+ Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to escalate technical issues when needed.
+ Strong organizational and team-oriented skills.
+ Technical Requirements:
+ Experience with FISO EEPROM Programming Software and Vapor Generator systems.
+ Experience with air pressure meters, RF generators, and flow inspection tools is a plus.
Education & Experience:
+ High school diploma (required).
+ Experience in a manufacturing or quality inspection role is preferred.
+ Clean room environment.
+ Ability to stand for extended periods.
+ Manual handling of equipment components such as adapters and probes.
+ Strict adherence to safety protocols while operating testing systems.
