The
role of the Production Supervisor is to lead the operations team, assigning
and directing production resources to meet the production objectives, and
manage/monitor shipping and receiving procedures. This individual is responsible
for providing daily feedback and recommendations to the engineering team and
Operations Manager on matters of status, issues, and requirements. This role
reports into the Operations Manager.
Essential
Responsibilities
Manage a
team made of mechanical and electrical assemblers, orbital welders, and
support personnel in a manufacturing capacity
Provide
continuity to all aspects of manufacturing and production
Oversee and
drive the safety culture at the site, acting as champion and ensuring
safety processes are adhered to
Perform
personal observation and safety inspections
Perform
daily team pre-start meeting
Identify
training needs on the team and develop plans for cross training and
development with each associate
Utilize
enterprise resource planning system for receiving, time management, and
information on parts and job objectives
Coordinate
with quality control (QC) on new manufacturing and work in partnership
across departments to develop, maintain, and implement in-process and
post-process procedures
Develop,
maintain, and execute the manufacturing schedule
Coordinate
with shipping, receiving, and the warehouse to maintain and improve
inventory bin levels
Ensure shop
upkeep and cleanliness, maintaining a “Tour Ready” standard

Salary: $85,000 to $110,000 per year DOE
