Join our dynamic team as a Production Supervisor at our Schulenburg, TX facility, where we craft delicious shelf-stable cheese dips and salsa! In this role, you’ll lead and mentor a dedicated team to ensure smooth operations across all stages of production. Shift: 3rd shift, 8:00 p.m. – 5:00 a.m.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Schedule, assign work, and provide clear direction to production associates. Ensure that the production process flows smoothly and that daily production goals are met. Continuously drive the facility’s culture toward a higher level of safety. Challenge status quo safety behaviors, engage in safety initiatives, and ensure safety-related training is attended by all employees. Partner with the Manager and other supervisors to ensure the department’s budget meets or exceeds its financial goals. Actively promote safe work behaviors and hold self and direct reports accountable for following safety rules and regulations. Complete supervisory activities such as interviewing, timekeeping, and performance evaluations. Food safety and regulatory responsibilities, and responsible for meeting the requirements of the SQF Food Safety Code for manufacturing and shall report food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate action. Drive the MSS program and manage the Sanitation Standards, Procedures, Equipment Inspection, and Sanitary equipment standards daily. Manage the 5S implementation throughout the department by ensuring understanding and establishing sustainability daily. Initiate and drive continuous improvement activities within the department, operations, and other areas of the facility to increase operational efficiency and contain costs. Partner with other departments regarding the resolution of ongoing problems, the implementation of new procedures or processes, the introduction of new products or product lines, and the development of new plans and designs. Ensure good business communication practices are engaged at all levels to ensure key stakeholders are well informed and have the ability to appropriately respond. HS Diploma or equivalent is required. A bachelor’s degree is a plus. 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience in dairy or food & beverage manufacturing is desired. A minimum of 2+ years of supervisory experience with the demonstrated ability to coach, train, and motivate teams. Knowledge of continuous improvement models. Computer proficiency with MS Excel, Word, and Outlook is required. Experience with inventory management systems desired; SAP experience is a plus.
