Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift

We are hiring a Production Supervisor – 2nd Shift at our CJ Foods manufacturing facility in Beaumont CA. This position is responsible for supervising the production, packaging, bakery, and processing of food product. Responsibilities: + Direct production, packaging, and bakery teams to ensure compliance with company and USDA requirements. + Supervise, train, and develop employees; manage hiring, performance appraisals, and disciplinary actions. + Ensure safety, housekeeping, policy compliance, and cost control while adjusting schedules to meet production needs. + Collaborate with USDA to meet food safety regulations and review/sign off on Quality Assurance and HACCP documentation. + Monitor product quality, waste, and performance to meet KPI targets and improve operational results. + Prepare and review operational reports, ensuring accuracy and timely distribution for decision-making. + Support continuous improvement in product quality, cost reduction, and GMP adherence while engaging in food safety initiatives. Qualifications: + Education: High School diploma required. Bachelor's degree preferred. + Minimum of 4 years related work experience preferably in food industry manufacturing or equivalent combination of education and experience, with minimum of 2 years in supervision. + Intermediate personal computer skills including Microsoft Office. SAP experience beneficial. + Intermediate knowledge of robotics used in production. + Strong communication and reasoning skills to provide a positive work environment. + Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. + Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. + Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. + Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Knowledge of USDA, FDA, and BRC regulations preferred. Compensation and Benefits: The base salary range for this position is $58,500 to $97,500 annually with eligibility for a 10% annual incentive bonus, that is based on organizational performance. The pay range represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to education, skills, work experience, certifications, geography etc. As such, starting pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
