Your Opportunity: The Occasions Group, A Taylor Company, is looking for a production Supervisor to join our team!
Your responsibilities:
Ensure safety and facility policies and procedures are observed and followed and directs reports are trained accordingly
Maintain and monitor workflow by establishing and flexing resources in order to meet daily output goals and customer needs
Record and maintain departmental metrics in order to recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment and employee performance and quality of product
Communicate goals and standards to employees ensuring communication events are sustained
Resolve employee issues by listening, communicating, analyzing data; investigating issues; identifying solutions and recommending action
Conduct employee training and performance appraisal process as delegated and as scheduled
Maintain departmental standards in safety, quality, productivity, utilization, delivery, training, and others as designated
Maintain a clean, organized work area through 5S and other lean tools
Use and promote all designated Personal Protective Equipment as required
Your shift:
Monday - Thursday, 3pm-1:30am
You Must Have:
2+ Years Production Supervisory Experience.
Demonstrated skills in leadership, organization and problem solving.
Excellent communicator, listener, negotiator, and facilitator.
Ability to understand complex concepts and communicate across all levels of the company.
Experience in MS Office suite.
Requirements within this position
Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand.
Regularly required to remain in a stationary position.
Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials.
Frequently required to move inside the facility.
Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry).
We would also prefer
Printing experience.
Leadership experience and training.
Continuous Improvement/lean Manufacturing experience.
Experience with environmental and safety regulations.
