We have an opportunity for an experienced and people focused Manufacturing Supervisor for our 2nd shift operations. This position will be directly responsible for establishing and maintaining a team-centric workplace that is safe focused on People, Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost. The role requires total oversight of team member engagement, safety, quality, production schedule attainment, and operational effectiveness (efficiency, scrap, and downtime). This positions will supervise approximately 8 Team Leads and 40 Direct Labor Teammates.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
SkillsLeadership: Ability to manage and motivate a team, resolve conflicts, and provide constructive feedback.Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with team members, other departments, and management.Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues, analyze problems, and implement effective solutions.Technical Proficiency: Understanding of manufacturing processes, machinery, and quality control systems.Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and handle logistical challenges.Attention to Detail: Ensuring that production meets quality standards and adheres to safety regulations. ExperienceRelevant Experience: 3-5 years in a manufacturing supervisory role.Knowledge of Production Processes: Experience with production techniques, machinery, and workflow optimization.
Knowledge:Safety Regulations: Knowledge of OSHA or other relevant safety standards and practices.Quality Control: Familiarity with quality assurance processes and standards.Lean Manufacturing: Understanding of lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies can be beneficial.
