Join us at Grundfos as a Production Supervisor and be part of a global leader in pumping solutions. **What is the job about?** As a Production Supervisor at Grundfos, your main responsibilities include ensuring the production of pumps and motors in the APU (Autonomous Production Unit). You will utilize your leadership skills to motivate and guide the APU team in achieving their targets. Effective communication with team members is crucial for optimal results. You will also administer direct labor while setting a positive example and maintaining team motivation. It is important to promote and ensure adherence to internal rules regarding safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC). This position reports directly to the APU Manager and will operate daily out of the San Luis Potosí, MX facility. Qualified candidates must have authorization to work in Mexico without support. **Your main responsibilities:** + Manage direct labor in terms of operations, ensure correct payment. + Lead production team to achieve APT performance target + Ensure to meet all processes related with quality systems (ISO) + Keep accuracy of WIP inventory (COGIS control) + Oversee the APU team's daily operations, focusing on problem resolution and compliance with QIP guidelines + Promote continuous improvement projects + Maintain current APT and DAM indicators, and promptly elevate any issues encountered + Ensure meet road maps of Grundfos Production System + Promote operation basis: SQDC **Your background** We imagine that you have: + Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Electric Engineering or other related fields of study + Minimum 3 years of experience as a Production Supervisor, managing direct labor and leading middle management teams. + Communication & Leadership skills + English proficient + SAP experience + Quality systems knowledge IS0 9000, + Basics on safety and ergonomics: EHS system ISO 14000, OSHAS + Lean Manufacturing knowledge + Basics on production cost control + Problem solving tools knowledge **What’s in it for you?** You’ll be an invaluable part of our global leadership team, a diverse network of pioneers guiding others in seeing possibilities, not problems.
