Production Supervisor

Our client, a company that supplies products to consumers and commercial kitchens is looking to hire a Production Supervisor in Santa Ana, CA. You will supervise and lead a team of production associates, assigning daily tasks and ensuring effective performance and development.

Responsibilities

Manage daily production schedules, ensuring compliance with customer specifications and production standards, including labor, case per hour attainment, waste, rework, and yield.Enforce safety protocols and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Conduct daily safety meetings and maintain a clean and organized work environment.Ensure accurate completion of all required documentation, including production records and time sheets, according to plant procedures.Train new hires and temps, monitor their progress, and provide feedback to the Team Leader. Support and coach Equipment Owners and production associates.Address employee issues, provide input for recognitions and perform recognition, and collaborate with Team Leaders in assessing team performance.Identify gaps in safety, quality, cost, and productivity, and work with team leaders to develop and implement action plans. Participate in weekly line meetings and monthly/quarterly reviews.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent (GED).Minimum of 3 years of experience in food manufacturing.Strong math, communication, and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in computer skills; experience with MLO, Dash Patrol, SAP, Power BI, Galaxy, Alchemy Coach, or similar systems preferred.Knowledge of OSHA regulations, LOTO, machine guarding, PPE, GMP, food safety, and HACCP.Bilingual skills (English and Spanish) are a plus.Ability to direct, coach, and train associates. Effective at building teams and driving engagement.Understanding of product quality checks and safety protocols. Ability to ensure compliance with standards.Demonstrated knowledge of production scheduling, equipment operation, and process optimization.Strong analytical skills with the ability to resolve issues promptly and effectively.Ability to disassemble and reassemble equipment and understand mechanical and spatial concepts.

Pay and Shift:

Monday - Friday6:00 pm - 3:00 am (Must be available to train for the first few weeks in the 1st shift which starts at 5:45 am)$25.25
