1. Plan, organize and control the plant's resources to maximize production in present and future
based on using the Job Orders or instructions from the Production Manager.
a. Move, prepare and troubleshoot equipment and tools
b. Receive, move, inspect and organize raw material
c. Prepare and make working materials available
d. Make sure there are enough spaces for proper operation
e. Train employees and support leaders training their subordinates
f. Supervise and make available personal protection equipment
g. Review production orders and make sure they are always available by the furnace or
respective place of production
h. Manage time and assist employees as needed to avoid work overloads and give
employees proper rest
i. Make sure there are always clean water and clean cups close to each production area.
2. Coordinate with the Quality Control Department to produce to the requirements of the quality
control department.
3. Approve prototype cores, prototype anodes, and heat alloys for casting.
4. Get each shift starter, placing employees in a strategic position to get more production.
5. Assist in fabricating gigs for core preparation, mold setup, prototype casting and anode
inspection for challenging orders.
Work Experience
1. Read and write.
2. Recognize and dominate numbers, fractions, and decimals.
3. Interpret tridimensional plans.
4. Basic welding.
5. Furnace management and operation
6. General metal machinery operation including hydraulic presses, drills, forklifts, gas
furnaces, grinders, and cutting saws.
7. Recognition of molds.
8. Casting aluminum and zinc.
9. Packaging of magnesium and zinc soil anodes.
