What’s the job?

Leadership role driving improvements through standard work practices within shift production team. Assures good housekeeping practices, enforces plant rules and safety regulations, counsels’ employees, documents performance issues and applies the provisions of the labor contract. Manages administrative functions during a shift, including time and attendance, production reporting and the completion of production work orders Works closely with Production Planning, Maintenance/Electrical departments, Quality Manager, Production Managers and Continuous Improvement Manager. Assists with coordination of autonomous and preventive maintenance activities Participates in Continuous Improvement events such as Rapid Improvement Events, Value Stream Mapping and 5S projects.

Work Schedule: The Production Supervisor works a rotating shift consisting of three days of 12-hour shifts in Week 1 and then four 12-hour shifts in Week 2.
