Job Summary

Reports to the Head of the Production Team, is responsible for the supervision of the machines in his/her charge, the manufacturing process based on safety to achieve the established objectives of quality, efficiency, cost and on-time delivery, providing technical support to the operation of the machines ensuring their effective operation. Manages and administers the personnel and machines under his/her charge and is responsible for enforcing the company's policies.

Core Responsibilities

Daily or routine activities:

Receive the plan in accordance with the MPS to ensure that machines are available.

Ordering spare parts in the machine operator's SAP system.

Verify that the machines are in good condition of functionality and safety (protection guards, adequate wiring, etc.).

Report fallen machines to the mechanic in charge.

Check the PM reports of the machines in your charge.

Verify that product quality and efficiency are acceptable.

Immediately report to the Junior Operator any problems with the materials (missing, defective, etc.).

Review and secure line clearance reports.

Ensures that Operators fill out production and scrap reports at the end of the day.

Support for Operators to fill the production screen and area boards.

Ensure that the personnel in their area are previously trained to perform their function.

Periodic or occasional activities:

Attend meetings when required.

Assist and support in physical inventories.

Have meetings with the operators and mechanics of the area, for the best performance of their work

Participle in HPWT.

Comply with the training in your Training Matrix.

Qualifying Experience

Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

ENGLISH: Basic

1 to 3 Years in a similar position

Experience with personnel management, decision making, leadership, working under pressure, problem solving, problems, conflict management.
