**Job Title: Production Supervisor**
**Job Description**
The Production Supervisor is responsible for directing and managing all plant production operations, ensuring the safe and efficient production and processing of quality precast concrete products. This role involves providing leadership to direct reports, promoting safety, and achieving established goals in coordination with other plant supervisors and management. The position is FLSA Exempt (salaried) and reports to the Plant Manager.
**Responsibilities**
+ Direct and manage plant operations for safe and efficient production and processing of quality precast concrete products.
+ Provide direction, development, and leadership to direct reports for safety compliance, quality standards, and operating performance.
+ Coordinate with other plant supervisors and/or management to foster teamwork and achieve established goals.
+ Implement cost-effective systems of control over operating expenditures and workforce.
+ Supervise proper operation and maintenance of company assets, facilities, and equipment, recommending replacements or adjustments when necessary.
+ Provide leadership and training to accomplish company goals and objectives, specifically promoting safety as a top priority.
+ Incorporate organization, consistency, and cleanliness among plant personnel.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Physical agility, including standing, sitting, walking, climbing, reaching, bending/stooping, lifting (up to 50 lbs.), pushing/pulling (up to 50 lbs.)
+ Industry-related and DOT certifications (ACI, QCAST, VDOT, MSHA) or the ability to obtain certifications within a specified timeframe

**Work Environment**
Work is generally performed in a production environment with ambient weather/air conditions, loud noise, dangerous equipment, and variable lighting. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required in all production areas. The facility is non-climate controlled, making it dusty and dirty due to the nature of cement products. Work will be performed both inside and outside. Office work will be conducted in clean, climate-controlled areas with fluorescent lighting.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Permanent position based out of Chesapeake, Virginia.
