Job DescriptionUltra Precision Control Systems (PCS) are looking for a Production Supervisor to join the manufacturing function.Job purpose:
To manage & lead a small team of operations production staffManage Holidays, sickness, time keeping & discipline across the team to ensure no loss of productionWorking with the Production Manager to deliver an agreed monthly planMonitor the team’s performance using agreed KPI’sManage, monitor & review labour bookingsHold Daily team meetings to review progress against the plan & update the team to known issuesAssist in the creation of shop order paperwork as required, including Route cardsEnsure shop order turnaround time is achievedClose completed shop orders & move parts into stockScanning of completed paperwork onto the companies MRP system Ensure an effective 6S and FOD program is run throughout the teamWork with the Production Manager to identify skills gaps & maintain a skills matrix for the teamWork with cross functional support teams to manage non-conforming materials, general production issues & ensure timely resolutionEnsure safe use and management of equipment and machineryAgree any overtime requirements in advance with the Production ManagerTo carry out any other duties as may be reasonably requestedKey responsibilities:

Proven CI capability / Lean Manufacturing experience3 years’ experience within an Aerospace/Defence environment.General awareness of IPC workmanship standardsPrevious experience working with an MRP systemQualifications/Experience:
