**Job Title: Production Supervisor**
**Job Description**
The Production Supervisor - Intermediate is responsible for managing small work teams in a fast-paced, high-volume, unionized manufacturing environment. This role requires ensuring the production plan is met, driving continuous improvement activities, and maintaining a safe workplace. The supervisor will analyze issues, coordinate World Class Manufacturing activities, and proactively address quality KPIs. Additionally, the role involves proper allocation of staff, managing absenteeism, and training team members.
**Responsibilities**
+ Ensure the production plan is met.
+ Analyze issues with other roles and implement continuous improvement activities.
+ Ensure a safe workplace and lead the team to improve safety.
+ Proactively analyze quality KPIs and prioritize quality issues.
+ Train and build teams.
+ Lead projects centered on safety, cost, quality, and throughput improvements.
+ Identify and address waste reduction opportunities.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ 1 or more years of experience in supervision in a high-volume environment.
+ Demonstrated ability to coach/mentor/develop team members.
+ Previous experience working in a union environment.
+ Experience in continuous improvement systems and lean manufacturing.

**Work Environment**
The work environment includes working different shifts and/or weekends, including overtime. Safety equipment such as safety glasses, sleeves, earplugs, and steel-toed shoes is required. Expect to stand or walk for long periods each day, frequently bend, stoop, reach, and lift up to 40 pounds, work in tight or closed-in spaces, and regularly climb ladders, man lifts, stairs, or crawl under vehicles if necessary. Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment are essential.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00
