Job Description
As the Production Supervisor (3rd Shift) you will have the opportunity to lead operational activities in accordance with departmental policies, procedures, and standards to achieve established production schedules and desired quality levels in a safe manner. Schedule: This is a third shift position. Typical work schedule is 9:00pm-5:45am (Sunday Night-Friday morning)
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily activities of associates, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.Champion safety and environmental initiatives to promote a secure workplace.Develop and train associates, empowering them to excel in their roles.Maintain a strong emphasis on quality and customer service excellence.Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.Support continuous improvement initiatives across the team.Act as a liaison between departments to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.Assist in the successful launch of new products.Manage resources effectively to achieve departmental goals.Enforce company policies and procedures consistently.Lead and mentor associates, promoting teamwork and growth in a dynamic environment.QualificationsBachelor’s Degree or equivalent experienceProven leadership abilityHands-on leader with sense of urgencyExcellent coaching and teambuilding skillsGreat problem-solving skillsSelf-motivatedStrong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skillsExperience implementing lean initiatives and cost reduction skillsExperience with E21 or similar ERP system preferredUnderstanding of the daily scheduling process preferredStrong ability to drive changeAdditional InformationFortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is $63,000 USD - $95,700 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
